5 builds you keep
Two people trying to book the last slot at the same time. Handled with an atomic reservation and an honest answer for the loser, which is where most portfolio CRUD apps quietly fall over.
One deployment, several organisations, and users who must never see another tenant's data. Authorisation enforced on the server for every query, tested by trying to break it.
Uploads that are too slow to handle in the request: queued, processed in the background, with progress reported to the user and a retry when processing fails.
Versioned endpoints, API key issuance, per-key rate limiting, and documentation someone else could build against without asking you questions.
Full stack, authenticated, tested, deployed through a pipeline on every push, with error tracking wired up. A live URL and a repository you can walk an interviewer through.
Hands on with
Before you enrol
Yes, and most of the class starts there. The first two modules assume nothing. What it does require is the practice time outside class, because web development is learned by building rather than by watching.
MERN is what Mumbai startups and agencies hire for most, so it is the fastest route to a first job here. More importantly, the JavaScript, HTTP, database modelling and deployment skills transfer to any other stack afterwards.
Demand has shifted rather than disappeared. AI produces code quickly and someone has to know whether it is correct, secure and maintainable. The modules on security, testing and debugging exist because those judgements are what employers now pay for.
Five projects and a deployed capstone with a live URL, CI pipeline and error tracking. The last module covers explaining them in an interview, which candidates usually find harder than building them.
TypeScript is introduced where it helps and used in the later projects. Next.js is touched on rather than taught in full, because React fundamentals matter more first and Next is straightforward once those are solid.
Where this leads
One skill on a CV is a hobby. These are the courses students take alongside this one, in the order that builds an actual role.
Cloud and DevOps together, because employers hire for the combination. You build real infrastructure, containerise applications and ship them through a pipeline you wrote.
Defensive security aimed where the attacks now are: cloud infrastructure and AI systems. Everything is practised in an isolated lab we provide.
Everything on the modelling side, in one programme. Data science end to end, the machine learning algorithms understood rather than imported, and applied AI through to generative models and guardrails.
